between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Peopleʼs Republic of China
On cooperation in the field of medical services

The Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Peopleʼs Republic of China, hereinafter referred to as the "Parties",
Based on the eternal friendship and strategic partnership between the two countries,
Wishing to further strengthen the historical fraternal ties of both nations,
In order to strengthen and develop cooperation in the field of medical services,
Have agreed as follows:
Article 1
Scope
Scope
The Parties shall cooperate in the field of providing medical services, improving the qualifications of medical specialists, conducting joint medical research and sharing experience.
Article 2
Areas of cooperation
Areas of cooperation
Cooperation between the Parties shall scope the following main areas:
1) Development of projects to protect maternal and child health, reduce maternal and child mortality;
2) Increasing the capacity of human resources in health;
3) Exchange of information and experience in the field of medicine, pharmaceuticals and medical equipment;
4) Development of hospital management systems and health information systems;
5) Organization of emergency medical services and cooperation in the field of health in the event of natural disasters;
6) Health tourism;
7) Other cooperation areas as agreed by the Parties.
Article 3
Forms of cooperation
Forms of cooperation
The Parties shall mutually cooperate in the field of healthcare and medical sciences in the following areas:
1) Providing highly qualified medical services, performing complex medical operations;
2) Exchange of information and experience;
3) Advanced training of medical specialists;
4) Creation of joint projects;
5) Ensuring cooperation between relevant health care institutions;
6) Exchange of delegations, experts and medical specialists;
7) Encouraging the participation of specialists in congresses, conferences, symposia and other scientific meetings that will be organized by the Parties.
8).Conducting joint scientific research;
9) Other forms of cooperation agreed by the Parties.
Article 4
Providing medical services
Providing medical services
The Chinese side is willing to provide convenience for the citizens of Republic of Uzbekistan to receive treatment in medical institutions of the Peopleʼs Republic of China.
The competent authorities of the States of the Parties shall provide comprehensive assistance in establishing mutual cooperation between the hospitals and medical institutions of the two countries in the treatment of Uzbek patients in China.

Joint working groups
Joint working groups
1. In order to implement this Agreement, the Parties may create appropriate working and expert groups, adopt action plans and other cooperation programs.
2. The Parties may exchange information and coordinate activities using email, video conferencing or other means of communication.
3. The Parties may decide to invite relevant experts or organizations, to provide information to meetings of the Parties.
Article 6
Relations to other international agreements
Relations to other international agreements
This Agreement shall not affect the rights and obligations of the Parties, arising from international agreements to which their Parties are parties.
Article 7
Dispute Settlement
Dispute Settlement
Any disputes arising from the interpretation or implementation of the provisions of this Agreement shall be settled through consultations and negotiations between the Parties.
Article 8
Additions and Amendments
Additions and Amendments
This Agreement may be amended and supplemented by mutual consent of the Parties. Amendments and supplements shall be drawn up by separate protocols, which shall form an integral part of this Agreement, and enter into force in accordance with Article 9 of this Agreement.

Final Provisions
Final Provisions
1. This Agreement shall enter into force on the date of signing.
2. This Agreement is concluded for five (5) years and it shall be renewed automatically for successive periods of five (5) years, unless one of the Parties notifies the other in writing through diplomatic channels of its intention to terminate the Agreement six (6) months prior to its expiration.
3. Either Party can terminate this Agreement by sending a written notification of its intention to terminate the Agreement. In such case, the Agreement will be terminated after three months after the date of such notification.
4. The termination of this Agreement shall not affect the activities and projects already in progress or executed.
Done at Beijing on September 1, 2025, in two originals, in Uzbek, Chinese and English languages, all texts being equally authentic.
in case of any divergence in interpretation of this Agreement, the English text shall prevail.
